Waxing is generally considered to be better than shaving or using a depilatory cream because hair regrowth is slower. New hair also appears softer and less stubbly as hair grows back with a fine rather than blunt tip. Wax containing Hemp or Aloe Vera is used to care for those sensitive areas and to help prevent any skin reaction. Hot Wax is a specialised treatment more suitable for very strong coarse hair and/or ingrowing hair. It is used for those clients who have sensive skin and not suitable for warm wax treatments or for those who simply prefer hot wax. A small extra charge will be made according to the extra time used and for the use of hot wax. Propil waxing is a superb Collin Resultime Treatment which works like electrolysis in destroying the root of the hair therefore giving a slower, lighter, finer, sparser hair growth. This treatment will help prevent ingrowing hairs as the hair is able to come throught as the dead skin cells under the epidermis dissolve. Further waxing treatments will be less painful due to the softening effects on the hair leaving skin less traumatised and uncomfortable. Ask your therapist for details.
